The true story of the 'floating rock'
After sometime of believing that the picture is not true without able to prove it, I finally come accross an arabic forum where the members discussing this. Thanks to image search engines, I can show you the pictures below that show the original rock in several viewing angles. The pictures show why the 'floating rock' is almost so convincing that many people reject to accept that such is only a manipulated image. The rock itself is unique, and is supported by at least three rock structures below it. The supporting rocks seem to be a continuous part of the rock that unite it with the ground. The supporting rocks are relatively very small compared to the size of the rock above them.

Yes, This stone is a part of a mountine in Al-Ahsa (East of Saudi Arabia)..I saw some people in Flickr writing some crazy things about it (although all of them were not true)The craziest thing I read about it is that it floats in certain days of the year about 10cm from the ground ^_^ hahahahaI live beside this place, and never see this crazy thing happen O_O ^_^

Batu yang dikatakan terapung sebenarnya adalah batu yang terdapat di Dome of Rock di Yerusalem.

Kesimpulan

1. Foto batu terapung tersebut adalah tipu-tipuan (hoax) belaka. Lokasi sesungguhnya di Arab Saudi, dan batu itu sebenarnya disokong oleh batu lain, bukan terapung. Foto itu menjadi terapung setelah gambarnya dimanipulasi. 
2. Batu terapung yang sebenarnya ada di Dome of Rock di kawasan  Masjidil Aqsa di kota Yerusalem.
